1. Who we are
Myrna & Judith ("the app", "we") is a bill reminder and payday app made in the Philippines. Questions: [email protected].
2. The short version
- No account and no bank login.
- Your bills, amounts, paydays and notes stay on your phone. We never receive them.
- To keep the app working, it sends us crash and performance reports. They never include your bill names, amounts or notes.
- Version 2.0 and later send these reports to Sentry. You can turn off usage analytics in Settings → Privacy. Crash reports stay on, because they're how we find and fix problems.
- Earlier versions (1.x) send them to Google Firebase. You can turn off both analytics and crash reports in Settings.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or tracking tools.
3. What stays on your phone
Everything you enter stays on your phone:
- bill names, amounts, due dates, repeat settings, notes and payments;
- your paydays and reminder times;
- your app preferences.
We don't receive any of it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted from your phone. If your phone's own backup (Google or iCloud) is on, it may include app data. That backup is handled by Google or Apple under your account, not by us.
4. What we collect
a. Crash and performance reports. When the app crashes, hits an error, or measures its own speed, it sends a technical report:
- your device model, operating system version and app version;
- the screen you were on;
- error details and timing.
In version 2.0 and later these are always on. In earlier versions you can turn them off in Settings (Crash reports).
b. Usage analytics. Which features are used: for example, that a bill was added or a reminder was tapped. These are counts, never the contents of your bills. They're on by default, and you can turn them off in Settings (Settings → Privacy in version 2.0 and later; Analytics in earlier versions).
c. A random install ID.
- Version 2.0 and later: a Support ID created on your phone when you install the app, shown in Settings. Both kinds of report carry it, so we can find your report if you contact us.
- Earlier versions: Firebase creates its own random ID for the app install, and the reports carry that ID.
In both cases the ID isn't connected to your name, phone number or email unless you share it with us.
5. How we use it
We use these reports only to:
- fix crashes and bugs;
- make the app faster;
- understand which features help people.
We never use them to sell anything, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
6. Who processes it for us
- Version 2.0 and later: Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) stores and processes the crash, performance and usage reports on our behalf, in the United States.
- Earlier versions: Google LLC processes them through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, in the United States.
Both process the data outside the Philippines, with appropriate safeguards. We don't share the reports with anyone else.
7. Notifications
Bill and payday reminders are created and scheduled on your phone. No server sends them.
8. How long we keep it
- Sentry (version 2.0 and later): reports are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Firebase (earlier versions): crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Analytics data is kept for up to 2 months, then deleted automatically.
9. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to its use.
- Version 2.0 and later: to delete the reports linked to your Support ID, email [email protected] with the Support ID shown in Settings.
- Earlier versions: these don't show an ID, so we may not be able to find your reports. You can stop them at any time by turning off Analytics and Crash reports in Settings, and they're deleted on the schedule above.
10. Children
The app isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in the app's update notes.
12. This website
myrnaandjudith.com counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't set cookies and doesn't follow you across other websites. The app only downloads a small public file from it, to turn seasonal looks and new features on or off, and sends no personal data when it does. Like any website visit, our host, Cloudflare, sees your phone's IP address; we don't keep it.
